Hailey finally made the big move. From the crib into her big-girl bed that is! :) When we got back from St. George I knew I had to move Carter, as he had still been sleeping in the bassinet prior to our trip. While we were away he started turning over like mad and liked to sleep on his tummy. Hailey had the big-girl twin bed in her room before Carter was born (I thought we would have made the transition awhile ago) but it just didn't work out the way I thought it might. I never wanted to mess up a good thing- she has always gone to bed and slept SO well in her crib.
So, while we had my Mom here visiting us, we made the move. We do all big transitions while Grandma is here for backup. :)
Hailey has now completely adjusted and although she would test me and get out once or twice when she first laid down in the beginning, she stays in it perfectly now and it actually went a lot more smoothly than I expected.
Carter is napping in his big-boy crib, but is still sleeping the first half of the night next to Mommy in the port-a-crib. I'm too lazy to go get him in his room to feed him. I can't believe he doesn't sleep the whole night through yet! He was doing so well before we left on our trip. I'll count my blessings that it's only once during the night though. It could be worse!

I forgot Grandma has most all of the pictures of Carter and Hailey in their new beds.

Hailey looks very happy (NOT!) to be in the big kid bed.
