This past week we made a quick road trip to Idaho Falls to say goodbye to Tristan's sweet Grandmother who passed away. The weather was pretty dicey, but the children did so well. I thought I'd document the fun time! Thank goodness our children have always done well riding in the car and sleeping in car seats! We spent most of our time in the car.
My best effort at reaching back to take a picture of sleeping Blake.
Thank goodness for movies in the car these days! It is very difficult for Carter to watch a movie with his mouth closed. (we tried!)
I miss these Utah mountains so much! It was perfect timing to travel up through Utah in time to see the snow in the beautiful mountains.
Before the snow...
During the snow...
What a good looking group of men. Mom Larson had all seven of her children there for support.
Happy faces at Grandma's funeral = being at peace knowing that she is in a better place with her late husband and our Heavenly Father. We'll miss you Grandma Frisby.
All of the brothers in the new fallen snow.
It was fun for the kiddos to be able to play in the snow right before Christmas time! :)
Nothing like Krispy Kreme for the ride home!

Beautiful pictures! I also love the DVD in the car.
I can't belive you guys made that dirve in the snow. We went to Utah for Thanksgiving and it took 3 times as long as usual. I am glad you are safe. I'm sorry about Grandma Frisby. It is amazing to me how these experiences can be so sad and testmony strengthening at the same time.
I am glad your kids were so good in the car. And I love Hailey's coat - so cute!
Is that Dwight Schrute on the far right, in the picture of the boys, at the funeral?
