Silly Leprechauns

The kids were pretty surprised when we didn't find any traces of Leprechauns being in our house last night until we opened our fridge this morning and found that they'd turned our milk green! The kids really loved drinking and pouring green milk on their cereal this morning. (of course they got to have green milk to go on their green apple jacks for St. Patties) :) They were almost as excited to have Daddy come home so they could tell him all about it and pinch him for not wearing green! Next year I think we'll try setting a trap.
I got motivated a few days ago to go all out and plan a "St. Patrick's Day dinner" for the family and tried a couple of new recipes. I forgot to take pictures, but I made a potato soup and a super delicious mint and chocolate ice cream cake! The cake was of course the best part!
