With all of the practice Carter and Hailey have had singing, it was finally Carter's turn for "Happy Birthday to You!" It was fun having Grandma Thompson here visiting for Carter's birthday and also Uncle Don. Carter wanted an Elmo cake and plates, although the cake decorator (not me) obviously didn't look at a picture of Elmo's nose before frosting it. It was cute, and a mess! He loved it.
Can you tell Carter liked his cake?

Carter got a few very fun and much needed new toys to play with.

For Carter's birthday, I got to go with Mom, Don, his girlfriend Kate, and Dave Bradshaw to go see the Cirque show KA at the MGM Grand. It was the third one I've seen and it was amazing!
