Well, we are getting settled in our new house after a long drive from Nampa down to Las Vegas. It wasn't really all that fun with Hailey throwing up 4 times and my car not starting once off of one of the exits. It took us about like 13 hours to get to St. George where we stayed the night at my folks house.
Our first week here was pretty rough as we all went through the flu- even my mom who came and selflessly helped me clean the yucky bathrooms and kitchen. Finally....everyone is well. Fortunately, Tristan didn't get it!
We are still struggling a little with all the change though I think. I'm starting to get used to my house and like it a little more. We can't complain about everything....the weather is fatastic! We usually go for two walks a day. :) Plus, thanks to a wonderful sis-in-law Tristan and I scored tickets to the Cirque Du Soleil show LOVE at the Mirage the other night, plus she stayed at the house while the kids slept! It was a blast.
All of the family is gone now. (except for Peter and Alison who just live a couple of blocks away!) So, it is a little boring, but nice at the same time to spend time as a family with no place to be.
We don't have the internet at home as you may have guessed, so I'll have a ton pictures to add when we do.
Oh, the kids love that we hear the airplanes taking off from the airport and we can see a million of them going and coming every day!

I hope you guys are adjusting well. Mikayla is on track break right now so we should get together and got o apark or something.
We miss you guys! It sounds like it was a long trip down. I can't believe you are really gone. We have been really lucky to get to be together for so long.
I'm glad you are adjusting ok. Where did you find a house? We'll ahve to get together sometime before it gets too hot. We can find a park in the middle somewhere.

I hear ya, I too am a little home sick for family and friends! Why can't we all just find jobs close to each other and forget "distance?" I am so happy that you guys get to be together though. Hey, now we have an excuse to stop in Vegas on our way to California!!
I'm so glad to hear you are a live and well....Glad to hear you are over the stomach flu! Not a good way to start the new adventure, but it can only go up from here!!! I'm so sorry I missed your phone calls last around my b-bay. I'll catch up with you soon.

Mmm... throwing up...glad we didn't stop. Actually, I didn't know when you were moving down there. How long have you been in Vegas? You have to be loving the weather, we just got snowed in this week...shouldn't spring start happening!?!
I'm glad you guys got there safe!! There is nothing worse than a throwing up child in the car! So sorry!

Well we wish you the best in your new adventures. I'm sure Meg and Max would love some warmer weather too. Glad to hear you're all better. We were sick a few weeks ago and really don't want to go through that again. Good Luck in Vegas!
