Happy Birthday to ME!

Holy Cow! It's true the big 3-0! Yesterday was my birthday and I am now 30 years young. I should have posted on my birthday, but today was actually my "better birthday," so I'm feeling a little more happy today. Sunday is always a little stressful with the whole two kids and church thing, but I think I also expected a little too much for my birthday. Like the kids were really going to behave like angels because it was my birthday or something. :) I've always really been into my birthday, so I guess it was a little disappointing without say, a husband! I did have some great friends though who invited me over for dinner and made me cake and ice cream. Then it got a little better, and I even got to open a couple of gifts. Tristan wrote me a letter, which is unusual, so that was my best present. Of course he could move home and that would be a better gift, but maybe for Christmas or something bigger. Thanks everyone for remembering me.
Here are a couple of 30th pictures of me not being able to blow out all 30 candles in one breath. Darn, Tristan got all 30 of his!

Wow, you're in your thirties! I'm happy to say that I"m still in my twenties. Must be hard being so old!
Yeah, really, 30 is a birthday I dread for some reason. I hope nobody remembers my birthday this year, then maybe it won't come true and I'll stay 29 for a while!
I hope you had a happy day. It was good talking to you yesterday, have fun in St. George!

Hey Christine, I can't believe you found me!!! It was so good to hear from you. Happy birthday by the way. I have been so bad at keeping in touch with people but aren't blogs the greatest. You have an adorable little family. I am so glad we can keep in touch now. I always wonder where you are and how you are doing. Now I can check on you whenever I want ha ha.

You are a beautiful 30 year old woman!!! Think of it this way you are just starting to blosom....
Don't you wish when you were 20 you knew what you know now. With age comes experience and that's a blessing. Love you.

Hey Christine! I just realized that I have a link to your blog from a comment you left me a couple of months ago. Duh! Sorry it took me so long to figure that one out. Your kids are darling! You are such a cute little 30-year-old mom. Don't worry, it happens to the best of us. (ha ha) I hope that you will be able to sell your house soon and reunite with your hubby. I'm glad I found you!
