For those of you who haven't heard... While we were in St. George Tristan went down to Vegas to visit his brother and sister. He talked to his good friend Preston, who was also a favorite mission companion, to invite him along to dinner. Well Preston didn't know Tristan has been out of work for the past 6 months now and took it upon himself to call and get Tristan an interview the next day with the company he works for. The company is conveniently owned by Preston's father-in-law, who Tristan has met before. So, the next day Tristan waited around to have the interview and was basically offered a job. He wasn't sure if that was good, or just confusing. So, he did some homework and called back to see if they would hire him for what he thought it was worth to suddenly move our family out to Las Vegas for. They did some thinking and called him back and asked "when can you start?" Tristan told them Monday morning as soon as his flight gets in. Ahhhhhh So, on Friday we made the big drive home all the way from St. George back to Boise so that we could have Sat. and Sun. to pack his suit cases and finish our taxes together. It was crazy, but Monday morning early we all packed up and headed to the airport with Tristan to see him off. Now I am left, single momin' it, while trying to clean-up the house to be show-worthy and start packing. Who knows what'll happen next. If you believe in prayer, say one for us because I'd like to reunite with my husband sometime in the next couple of months! It's been hard, but only 2 weeks have passed and so far we're surviving.
The house has been listed and we're trying to find a good home for Sage. My Mom is coming to visit for a couple of weeks and that will help a lot too! Check out the blog for further updates!

LDS blogger says, "You can do it! My husband was in Iraq for over a year, different time zone ( his days were our nights and our days his nights, and a very dangerous place to live. Prayer and Faith will get you everywhere you need to be." Hang in there.
Oh sorry I forgot to say my brother lived in NAPA!

Wow! I had no idea that Tristan wasn't working. So cool that you guys have connections like that. I admire you for being able to take care of two kids by yourself, on top of trying to sell your house. You're a stronger woman than me, for sure!! I hope things continue to go well! Good luck!! Katie
WHAT THE......!!!!!!! So you think you can move to Vegas and not Rexburg huh?!! I am insulted!! I am glad that Tristan got a job, but I wish it was with PikeBuilders!! Well, hang in there and we will keep you in our prayers.
